What Khata connects to
Your shop does not run in one app. Here is what Khata talks to, and — just as usefully — what it does not.
IndiaMART lead sync
Pull buyer enquiries from IndiaMART straight into Khata instead of working them out of an inbox. Add your own IndiaMART key once, and enquiries arrive with the buyer's details attached. Duplicates are filtered by IndiaMART's own query id, so re-syncing never creates the same lead twice.
Requires your own IndiaMART seller account and API key.
Meta Lead Ads
If you run lead-form ads on Facebook or Instagram, submissions can be delivered to Khata by webhook as they happen, rather than being downloaded as a CSV days later.
Requires a Meta business account with a lead form configured.
Your public store page
Every business gets a public page listing its categories and products, which you can send to customers or put in a bio link. It is served from your own catalogue, so it stays current without you maintaining a second site.
Only products you choose to publish are shown.
Shareable invoices
A bill can be opened by link, so a customer can see their invoice without installing anything. Useful for wholesale buyers who want a copy on record.
Phone, tablet and web
The same account and the same data across Android, iOS and the web dashboard. Bills raised on a phone with no signal sync when the connection returns, with duplicate protection so a retry cannot double-count a sale.
There is no public API yet
Plenty of products publish a developer portal before the API behind it is ready for anyone to build on. We would rather say it straight: Khata does not currently offer public API keys, and there is no published reference to integrate against.
The integrations above are built into the product rather than assembled by you. If you need Khata to talk to something specific — your accountant's software, an ERP, a marketplace — tell us what and why. Real requests are what decide what gets built.
Your data stays yours
You can export your records whenever you want, and we name every third party that touches them.
